lately i have been sleeping in and dying for a camera. to freeze time, to record life, to stop it forever. the native americans believed that each time your photo was taken a piece of your soul was captured. lately ive been drinking tea, coffee, but only in the early hours of the morning. lately ive been trying unsuccessfully to not waste gas, to get to class, to  organize my book shelf. lately ive been trying to not spend money, lately ive been listening to sad songs, lately ive been running toward the ocean water at one am. sitting in parks, reading literature, wishing i could enjoy a lovely bed all day long. life is good, theres so much to appreciate. all good things are wild and free

i get a little warm when i think of winter
